Spring Activity Day – Creating the Kaleidoscope
Spring Break Activity Days offer fun, educational activities for children of all ages.
Contact Thomas@jameskpolk.com for registration and information.
Join us Thursday April 8th for a colorful history of the kaleidoscope. Learn how the invention of kaleidoscope led to controversy in England, influenced American art, and morphed from a fancy parlor fixture to a cheap child’s toy. Participants will get to create their own kaleidoscope to take home.
$15 per child. All Ages. Pay on arrival at the Sisters House Visitor Center.
*A special thanks to Kaleidoscope Columbia for donating materials.
